Well! Homestretch! Tonight, I will be playing with and posting about the ideas for the final shelf. If any of you have any last minute ideas or suggestions, please do.
I was going to snap some pictures of the classroom yesterday afterschool. However, they were calling for severe storms, so I "got out of Dodge". When I got home, I was greeted with a swirling mass of clouds in front of my house.
Anyone see ToTo? Yikes. We got some wind and rain, but the best part was the rumbly thunder where each rumble seemed to last forever. The storm put some fear in me, but I was so mesmerized by its beauty! God is certainly in his creation!
Psalm 46:1-11
"My heart overflows with a pleasing theme;I address my verses to the king;my tongue is like the pen of a ready scribe. God is our refuge and strength,a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,the holy habitation of the Most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved;God will help her when morning dawns. The nations rage, the kingdoms totter;he utters his voice, the earth melts. The Lord of hosts is with us;the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah Come, behold the works of the Lord, how he has brought desolations on the earth. He makes wars cease to the end of the earth;he breaks the bow and shatters the spear;he burns the chariots with fire. “Be still, and know that I am God.I will be exalted among the nations,I will be exalted in the earth!” The Lord of hosts is with us;the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah"
Have a blessed day!
The Marm. Really.
Oh dear...storm is not nice...such black dark clouds..
ReplyDeleteYou are all in my prayers and thoughts.
Huge hugs x
Sweet storm...as our son, Drew, the Metard (self-proclaimed meteorologist nerd) would say. We had some good ones this week too - did you see the pic I posted on my blog that my Mister took the other day? Hope you didn't have any damage. Looking forward to seeing your classroom and your finished project!
ReplyDeleteGood morning Heather,
ReplyDeleteThat was some wicked looking sky - awesome but scary at the same time.
Our skys were dark and we need rain badly - I told Doug how I'd love a nice down pour with some thunder...not fierce storm but something soothing to listen to. Been a long time for one of those...when they come it's usually a doozy.
Glad everyone escaped some disaster.
Blessings,
Karen
Scary looking clouds there, Heather.. Glad all went well..
ReplyDeleteTake care, dear friend.. xo
