Psalm 118:24
"This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it."
It's a dreary day in the neighborhood here in PA. God's word gives comfort. And, when I was a kid, there was something about the soothing, gentle voice of Mr. Roger that did, and still does give comfort.
I can't complain too much because so many of you are still under snow. It is supposed to rain all week here (I know, I know. April Showers...) Trees are just now starting to open a bit. But, I am going to choose to see sunshine and green, even if it is indoors...
Have a beautiful day, neighbors, wherever you are...
God bless!
Heather
Morning, I woke up to snow coming down, yuk!!!! your plants are coming along beautiful, nice to see greenery, Love the sweet ducky`s.......Blessings Francine.
ReplyDeleteEwwwww. I am so sorry! Thank you about my duckies. They were my grandmother's. She always had them in her kitchen window. They remind me of our good talks and playing cards in the kitchen. I cherish them. I am glad you like them too!
DeleteLove,
Heather
Hi Heather,
ReplyDeleteWell you are as wet as we are here...hope you do not get any flooding like we do.
Lovely pictures to brighten up a gloomy day (no sun here!)
Karen
Okay, so I said rain, it was sunny until about 4:00ish. Now comes the rain. It was nice for the kids today. Of course, guess who has recess duty tomorrow? Me. I get all of the lousy weather days. I hate indoor recess. Hate it. Worse is when we have to go out in light misty drizzle. Hate that too. Hate is strong, but yup, that is the word I choose!
DeleteI am praying for you dear! I know this weather can't be helping the pain!
Love and hugs!
Heather
Good afternoon Heather, the sun is shining and the birds are singing here in my neck of the woods.Sure enjoyed seeing your pretty pics. That little duck has stolen my heart,it is just so cute.Hugs,Jen
ReplyDeleteOkay, so if there is a knock at your door tomorrow, don't be alarmed. It's me. I want to have coffee and listen to birds in sunshine, okay? I can get a sub. Really!
DeleteThe duckies were my grandmom's. They have a special place in my heart too!
Thanks for dropping by! Don't forget about my visit... :)
Hugs back,
Heather
Heather, your yellow duck just makes me smile. This bible verse is the one my Granddaughter Amanda repeated over and over on the first day of kindergarten. She said it over and over from the car to the door of the room. Your post made my day today.
ReplyDeleteYes, we here in Alabama are getting rain also. Finally some warmer temperatures, though. The little yellow ducky really is cheerful. HAppy day to you also. Prim blessings ♥
