Hi, How'dy, How are ya?

Welcome to "The Country Schoolmarm"! Get yourself a cup of coffee (I take mine strong with vanilla creamer), grab a seat, and chat a while! Isn't that what country friends do? Now, all we need is a porch...

  3. I'm Elinor Dashwood too!! :-) Thanks for stopping in at Cranberry Morning today. I suspect that the fireworks to celebrate Guy Fawkes Night came much later than the bonfires which were to let people know that the plot had been thwarted and that the King was alive. Huh? Somehow it seems that they wouldn't have heard about it because they didn't have Twitter. :-) Anyway, like your blog. I'm going to follow you via Feedly and GFC. I'm running a 2-handcrafted vegan soap Giveaway on my blog through Thursday. Hope you'll enter.

    1. Elinor Dashwood is awesome! Hee hee! It is funny. There are a lot of people whose blogs I follow that have taken the Jane Austen Character Quiz. And you know, as I get to know people, I see those character traits. I think it is pretty accurate.

My students had no problem remembering Guy Fawkes for their test! Fires make more sense. The fireworks, well... So, why do you celebrate it?

I will definitely check out the giveaway! I hope I am not too late! I love handcrafted soaps!

Thank you for following! I appreciate it!

Have a great evening, Miss Dashwood!

  5. Hi,
I've got to get busy and put some things on ebay. Thanks for the reminder! Love the white dishes. I went to mismatched white dishes that I thrift after my daughter went through a stage of dropping dishes. It's passed, but I still enjoy looking for dishes to add to my collection.

    Blessings,
