Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
God give us true spiritual comfort. He is the only one that can. I do truly believe that His dewdrops provide emotional and physical comfort when days are just a wee bit stinky...
The perfect verse for the day.
The needed song to hear.
The perfect reminder on a friend's blog post (Thanks, Granny T!)
A call or email from a friend.
A heart-shaped latte.
Warm, snuggly puppies.
Snow days.
Sunny days.
Hugs.
Coffee with the perfect amount of creamer (okay, that may just be me...)
Quiet.
Oh, so many! What are your small comforts?
Here is a comforting hug from me, dear friends!
Lots of Love!
Heather

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post Heather! I love sitting by a cozy fire, working with my needle and thread, family, fun, friends, pets, antiquing, gardening while enjoying the outdoors and listening to the sounds of nature...and I love our Lord too! Have a blessed day dear!
ReplyDeleteHearing my little girl laugh or getting a reassuring hug from her. Talking to my mom on the phone. Just being still in the quiet of my home.
ReplyDeleteThe hum of the fireplace at my mom and dad's house. So many things bring comfort. Love this post. Have a happy day.
