I feel like a comforting environment- whether furniture or wearing slippers, makes a classroom conducive to learning. Students feel at home, they feel safe, and that learning is fun. Plus! I live there too! Now, I would love to do it in primitives, but the kids may not be loving the grunge and black accents!

It is sweet to receive little notes from students. Every word I say, teaching moment I have is from God. So, even though their kind notes to me are heartwarming, they speak to the nature of the child. Their compassionate and giving "love language" which is a blessing to see. Those are the same children who gather up handfuls of flowering weeds (dandelions often!) and give them to you out of simple love. Those are the days I cherish- coffee or no coffee. When you don't have children of your own, the love of the children in your care is greatly valued...

Thank you all for visiting! I will post more classroom stuff as interesting things happen (Oh, and you will see some interesting stuff. Kids are funny in their native classroom environment!)

Until then, blessings and love to you all! You are all a blessing to me!

Love,
HeatherAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13054864886481707686noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2551539772201422364.post-84899779934950560462012-09-29T11:16:25.697-04:002012-09-29T11:16:25.697-04:00what a great class room! busy busy thank goodness ...what a great class room! busy busy thank goodness for coffee and quiet time! enjoy your weekend!jodyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10748411039992367281noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2551539772201422364.post-20526750310578525852012-09-29T04:13:51.311-04:002012-09-29T04:13:51.311-04:00Oh I know it would be so much fun to learn in your...Oh I know it would be so much fun to learn in your classroom! I love how the kids can wear slippers in the classroom--that's really neat. I wish they would've let us do that when I was in school! The new hamster is adorable!!
